practicing a bit of the old guitar stuff last night I clicked on the BBC news and was saddened to hear of Nelson Mandela’s death. Shedding a tear or two I started playing around with this African groove. Simple Major Triads and the Ionian Mode make up most of this style of music and of course great rhythm . I decided to record some of what I had put together. So here is a little bit of African Guitar in Mansfield. This tune will forever go round in my head and remind me of a man who gave his whole life to a struggle and has left us with with his lasting legacy: Hope x
